Tata Motors has unveiled the 2025 versions of its Tiago and Tiago EV hatchbacks, introducing a series of updates designed to enhance their appeal ahead of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. With updated styling, advanced features, and a focus on technology, these models aim to bolster Tata’s position in both the entry-level and electric vehicle segments.
Pricing and Variants
The 2025 Tata Tiago petrol model is priced between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 7.20 lakh (ex-showroom), while the iCNG variant starts at Rs 6 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.20 lakh. The Tiago EV, featuring an electric powertrain, is priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Tiago petrol variant is available in five trims – XE, XM, XT, XZ, and XZ Plus – alongside the crossover-inspired NRG version, based on the XZ trim. The Tiago EV, on the other hand, comes in three trims – XE, XT, and XZ Plus.
New Features
Both the Tiago and Tiago EV have received several notable updates:
Interior and Infotainment: The centrepiece is a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. The interior features a grey-beige dashboard, dual-tone seat upholstery, and an updated digital instrument cluster.
Design Updates: Standard features across both models include LED headlights, a shark fin antenna, and a twin-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.
Safety Enhancements: The addition of electronic stability control (ESC) boosts safety for both drivers and passengers.
The Tiago EV boasts additional refinements, including a redesigned front grille, aerodynamic 14″ wheel covers, and EV-specific badging on the front doors.

Top-tier EV trims also feature a leatherette-wrapped steering wheel, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, and cruise control.
Retained Powertrains
The mechanical setup of the Tiago remains unchanged. The petrol variant continues with its 1.2-litre, three-cylinder engine, while the Tiago EV offers two battery options: a 19.2 kWh unit with a claimed range of 250 km and a 24 kWh pack offering a range of 315 km. These options make the Tiago EV suitable for both city driving and longer journeys.
Lineup Optimisation
Tata Motors has streamlined the Tiago lineup by discontinuing certain variants. These include the XT(O), XT Rhythm, XT NRG, and XZ(O)+ trims for the petrol and CNG models, along with the XZ+ trim for the Tiago EV.
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 Showcase
The revamped Tiago and Tiago EV will be featured at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where Tata Motors will also showcase other models, including the production-ready Harrier EV and Sierra EV. This display underscores the company’s dedication to sustainable mobility solutions.
