The group art exhibition ‘From Point to Infinity’ will be on view from August 3 to 10 at the Shridharani Gallery, Triveni Kala Sangam. Organised by Art Incept, the show brings together ten contemporary Indian artists who engage with basic visual elements—dot, line, and space—to reflect on perception, form, and meaning.
Participating artists include Aditya Mandlik, Arjun Sara, Deepak Agasthya, Jit Chowdhury, Kishwar Kiani, Nilanjan Das, Niyeti Chadha, Parul Sharma, and Sandeep Ghule. The exhibition is curated by artist, writer, and mentor Rahul Kumar.
The show opens with a preview on Saturday, August 2, at 5:00 PM.
According to the curatorial note, the exhibition is rooted in the principle that a dot—while dimensionless—is a point of attention that anchors space. When multiplied, it becomes a line, which in turn forms shapes and divides or contains space. The artworks use these basic components to question and reimagine the nature of space—physical, architectural, imagined, or metaphysical.
The participating artists work across a range of media and approaches, but all interpret the core idea of visual minimalism through their own material and conceptual lens. Many works reflect a strong architectural influence or draw from systems of mapping, geometry, or spiritual symbolism.
“This show is a manifestation of our ongoing purpose: to nurture new voices, spark dialogue, and present thoughtful art rooted in process and rigour,” says Gayatri Singh, Founder & Director of Art Incept.
Rahul Kumar, the curator, is known for his writing and mentoring within the South Asian art ecosystem. A Fulbright and Charles Wallace scholar, he has contributed extensively to publications like The Hindu and Mint Lounge.

The exhibition continues Art Incept’s commitment to supporting early- and mid-career artists. The platform has previously participated in events such as the India Art Fair and London Art Fair, and collaborated with institutions including Plaksha University, the Oberoi Group, and BPCL.
