Vivo launches Y19s smartphone in India with 6000mAh battery

The new Y-series device comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, Android 15-based FunTouchOS 15, and IP64 protection against dust and water

Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched its latest Y-series smartphone, the Vivo Y19s, in India. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and packs a 6,000mAh battery, promising extended usage for everyday tasks.

The Y19s comes equipped with several AI-driven photography tools, including AI Erase for removing unwanted objects and AI Photo Enhance to improve image quality and detail. It runs on Android 15-based FunTouchOS 15 and supports 15W wired charging.

The smartphone features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1600×720 resolution, and 700 nits of brightness. Designed for durability, it has received SGS certification for drop resistance and carries an IP64 rating for dust and water protection.

For imaging, the Vivo Y19s sports a 13-megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by a 0.08-megapixel depth sensor, while the front houses a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, TÜV low blue light certification for the display, and a 200 per cent Super Loud Volume mode for improved sound output.

The Y19s will be available in Titanium Silver and Majestic Green colour options. According to FoneArena, the smartphone is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and Rs 13,499 for the top-end model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
