Delhi woke up to partly cloudy skies on Friday, with the minimum temperature settling at 27.4 degrees Celsius.
Station-wise data showed that the minimum temperature at Palam was 25.9 degrees Celsius, while Lodi Road recorded 27.2 degrees Celsius.
The Ridge recorded a minimum of 23 degrees Celsius, 1.5 degrees below normal, while Ayanagar recorded 26.1 degrees Celsius, 1.4 notches above normal.
The weather office has forecast generally cloudy skies with light rain during the day. The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 33 degrees Celsius.
The humidity level was 55 per cent.
Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) stood at 122 at 9 am, falling in the “moderate” category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board.
Under the CPCB’s AQI scale, a reading of 0-50 is considered “good”, 51-100 “satisfactory”, 101-200 “moderate”, 201-300 “poor”, 301-400 “very poor” and 401-500 “severe”.
