Delhi Traffic Police personnel rescued the occupants of a car after it caught fire at Azadpur Chowk, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place on Saturday when the car travelling from Shalimar Bagh towards Azadpur suddenly caught fire, they said.
The driver, Harsh Jain (26), was travelling in the vehicle when the fire broke out. He and other occupants were rescued and no casualty was reported, the police said.

Traffic personnel deployed at the spot immediately noticed the situation and alerted the Fire Brigade and local police. “The personnel also helped ensure the safe evacuation of those inside the vehicle, preventing a potentially serious tragedy,” a senior police officer said.
