According to police, Mishra’s body was found hanging from a tree in the park, using a rope, and a suicide note was found on him.

The police are currently analysing the contents of the note. Dated July 1, the note reveals that Mishra claimed to be free from any fear or distress but expressed feeling like he didn’t belong in the world and had been deceived by a stranger, they said.

The discovery of Mishra’s body was made early on Sunday morning by parkgoers, who promptly informed the police at around 5.40 am.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Chowdhary said that when the police arrived at the scene, they found the man hanging inside the park, specifically opposite gate no. 7 of the Thyagaraj Stadium. Inquest proceedings have been initiated, and Mishra’s family has been notified.
