Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Sunday that the government plans to establish special camps for individuals who have lost their Aadhaar cards and other important documents in the floods.

He made this announcement while visiting a relief camp in Mori Gate, located in the northern part of Delhi.

Kejriwal informed reporters, “The government will set up dedicated camps to assist those individuals whose Aadhaar cards and other essential documents have been washed away in the flood. We will also make arrangements to provide school uniforms and books to students.”

He further mentioned that efforts are underway to drain water from the flooded roads, and life is gradually returning to normalcy. As of 1 pm, the water levels in the Yamuna river had receded to 205.85 meters.

When questioned about the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) participation in the upcoming meeting of opposition parties in Bengaluru scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, Kejriwal stated that the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) will make the final decision.
