Delhi experienced a clear sky and bright sunshine on Tuesday morning, with the minimum temperature recorded at 16 degrees Celsius, 1.3 notches below the season’s average.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted clear skies throughout the day, with the maximum temperature expected to reach around 37 degrees Celsius.
However, the city’s air quality remained in the ‘poor’ category, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 217 by 11 am, according to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
An AQI between 0 and 50 is classified as ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.
