Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a humid Monday morning with the minimum temperature settling at 31.6 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season’s average, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The relative humidity at 8.30 am stood at 70 per cent.

The weather office has forecast a generally cloudy sky and thunderstorm with very light rain.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 39 degrees Celsius.

The weathermen predicted that the capital will witness the maximum temperature of 40 degree Celsius for next two days, while the minimum temperature on June 25 will settle at 31 degree Celsius and on June 26 the temperature will dip to 30 degree Celsius. “The sky will be partly cloudy, and there is a chance of a thunderstorm with very light rain,” he said.
“However, on June 27, the maximum temperature in the capital will settle at 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature will be recorded nearly 28 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain generally cloudy, and there is a possibility of a thunderstorm with very light rain accompanied by gusty winds between 30-40 km/h”, he said.
“On June 28, temperatures will slightly decrease to a high of 37°C and a low of 29°C. The sky will continue to be generally cloudy, with the possibility of a thunderstorm bringing very light rain and gusty winds of 25-35 km/h,” IMD predicted.

“By June 29, the temperature will further decrease to 36°C during the day and 28°C at night. The weather will feature thunderstorms with rain, accompanied by gusty winds between 30-40 km/h”, IMD stated.
“Finally, on June 30, the temperature will remain steady with a high of 36°C and a low of 28°C. The sky will stay generally cloudy, and thunderstorms with rain are expected, accompanied by gusty winds of 30-40 km/h”, IMD added.
