The Met office has predicted generally cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle for Sunday

Thunderstorm with heavy rain lashed parts of Delhi on Saturday evening with the maximum temperature settling five notches below the season’s average at 28.4 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Many areas in south and southeast Delhi witnessed heavy downpour around 6pm.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 15.7 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal, the IMD said.
The relative humidity oscillated between 58% and 83%.

For Sunday, the IMD has predicted generally cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 31 and 16 degrees Celsius, respectively.

The rainfall in the past few days has kept the temperature from surging in Delhi-NCR.
Even on Friday, the city witnessed a trace of rainfall and the maximum temperature was recorded three notches below normal at 28.5 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature stood at 16.8 degrees Celsius. (With inputs from PTI)
