The Dhoomimal Art Centre in Connaught Place is currently hosting “I Remember You from Tomorrow”, an exhibition showcasing new works by artist Ratnadeep Adivrekar. This ongoing exhibition, which began on February 3, will continue until February 28, (excluding Sundays). Visitors can explore Adivrekar’s vivid paintings and a collection of works on paper across two floors of the gallery.
Curated by Abhijeet Gondkar, this exhibition marks Adivrekar’s debut solo presentation in New Delhi. Born in Mumbai and now based in both Mumbai and Dubai, Adivrekar is known for his striking, colourful works that delve into the relationship between personal introspection, philosophy, and the wider world. In I Remember You from Tomorrow, the artist expands on these themes, incorporating devotion and connection—whether to creative endeavours, art, or the soul.
Through a series of abstract compositions, Adivrekar explores moments of reflection, history, and myth, blending reality with imagination. Using magical realism, his works blur the line between the real and the surreal, often featuring figures in contemplation, distorted or exaggerated forms, and rich colour palettes.
The title piece, I Remember You from Tomorrow, is central to the exhibition, serving as both an exploration of devotion and a framework for the artist’s inquiry into the creative process. The work depicts the artist’s studio, where hand and mind exist in constant dialogue. Some of the paintings featured in the title work are also included in the exhibition, inviting viewers to explore the conceptual world Adivrekar creates.

Drawing inspiration from the Fluxus movement and mythological folklore, Adivrekar’s works combine gestural marks and modern myth-making. His artistic process positions him as a creator who brings objects from the abstract realm into physical reality, navigating turbulent times through visual storytelling.
I Remember You from Tomorrow is open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM (except Sundays) at the Dhoomimal Art Centre, and will run until February 28.
