Delhi: Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, led by Vice Chairperson Padmashri Shobha Deepak Singh, is set to present the 48th edition of its dance drama, ‘Krishna’.
The performances will take place from August 23 to 26, 2024, at Kamani Auditorium, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi. Evening shows will begin at 6:30 PM daily, with an additional matinee performance on Monday, August 26, at 3:00 PM.
This two-and-a-half-hour production depicts the life of Lord Krishna, from his childhood to his role in the Mahabharata. The show combines traditional Indian dance forms like Mayurbhanj Chhau, Kathak, and Kalaripayattu to portray different aspects of Krishna’s life.
A state-of-the-art LED wall will be used to enhance the visual experience. The production also features intricate sets and costumes.

Speaking about the production, Padmashri Shobha Deepak Singh said, “Krishna is a way to bring Lord Krishna’s life story to the stage. Our aim is to blend traditional dance with modern technology to create an engaging experience for the audience.”
Tickets are priced at Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,000, Rs. 500, and Rs. 300. They are available on BookMyShow and at the Kendra Office from August 12, 2024.
