Art of writing
What: For all those who are fascinated with calligraphy, a workshop on Devanagari brings to you the most interesting design and style of lettering, which is more of a visual art or expression. Get the opportunity to learn the most used and adopted writing script in the world. The workshop will also help participants to explore various mediums such as twig, brush, pen and other writing instruments. It will not just help in improving writing skills but will also improve the understanding of indigenous language.

Theatre’s distress
What: Highlighting the inner conflict and struggle of a theatre artist, Hindi play Kaal Kothri, depicts the personal life of theatre actors. It also portrays other issues, especially the corruption in culture. Rajat is a theatre artist who is following his passion for acting. But his art gets affected when money becomes the sole measure of success. In trying to make ends meet, he faces a tough time with his son and wife. His retired father and unmarried sister take up work to support the family. Rajat is forced to find another job, but unfortunately, he fails. Watch the heart-wrenching drama unfold with Kaal Kothri.

Spin the wheel
What: Are you ready to get your hands muddy on the potter’s wheel? Indulge in a deeply meditative, inspirational and creative workshop of pottery, dedicated to molding clay into different shapes and forms. Have fun as you learn to prepare clay and rolling slabs and get introduced to a variety of slab-forming techniques by well-known potter Neha Gupta. It is all about hands-on learning, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes that you won’t mind getting soiled.

Rock and Roll
What: Delhiites, gear up to groove to Bangalore Rock with Thermal and a Quarter. What: If you are new to the city, here’s a chance to explore the night life of the capital. Organised by Delhi Photo Tour, experience how different parts of the city offer different sights at night with this night photography tour. The tour will cover different points of interest in both Old and New Delhi. From markets of Old Delhi bustling with people well past midnight, to the hangouts open till late night in New Delhi — you will get to capture the city after the sun goes down.
