What: With over 600 songs, 36 albums and innumerable awards and accolades, Bob Dylan has undeniably influenced music like no other. In honour of his 77th birthday, Depot 48 is organising a tribute by multiple artistes. Join them for an evening of songs and conversations as artistes belts out acoustic version of his classics followed by a full band show. Sing along, dance and engage with other fans as the performers play out their own renditions of your favourite Dylan songs.

Cinematic gems

What: The 13th edition of the Habitat Film Festival is here. Over 10 days, several national award-winning films and critically acclaimed documentaries will be screened. Apart from panel discussions with
film journalists and post-screening interactions with directors, you also get a chance to attend sessions of master classes with screenwriters and directors like Vishal Bharadwaj, Rakeysh Omprakash and others. The festival will open with Drishtikhone, a Bengali film directed by Kaushik Ganguly.

What: Portraying the bitter realities of life, Soch Rangmanch presents ‘The Dark Hour’, an ensemble of two short stories. Inspired by events of everyday life, the first play reflects how at every stage of life all one does is compromise and adjust. The second play will make one rethink relationships and emotions. It shows how old people are secluded at a point in life when they need emotional support the most.
