An experiential wildlife showcase titled ‘In the Wild – Tadoba’, presented by Baghdera Meadows Wildlife Resorts, will be held at Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi, on May 14, 2026. The two-hour session, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, brings together field storytelling, conservation dialogue and experiential tourism centred on the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra.
The event will feature wildlife experts Sameer Bakshi and Tarun Walecha, who will share on-ground narratives and observations from one of India’s prominent tiger landscapes. Through stories drawn from field experiences, the session seeks to offer audiences a closer understanding of forest ecosystems, animal behaviour and the fragile balance that sustains biodiversity in protected reserves.
Structured as an immersive presentation rather than a conventional travel talk, the showcase positions Tadoba not only as a destination but as a living ecosystem shaped by interdependence between species, habitat and human responsibility. Visual storytelling and expert commentary are expected to form the core of the engagement, allowing urban audiences in Delhi to access perspectives usually confined to field experience.
The programme also places emphasis on responsible tourism, highlighting the role of mindful travel in supporting conservation outcomes. As wildlife habitats face increasing ecological pressures, the initiative draws attention to the need for sustained dialogue around preservation, community involvement and ethical engagement with natural spaces.
A curated high tea will follow the session, extending the experience into a more informal setting. As a highlight of the event, one attending pair will also be selected for a complimentary two-night retreat at Baghdera Meadows, located in proximity to tiger habitats.
Speakers and organisers describe the initiative as an attempt to bridge distance between urban audiences and forest landscapes, using storytelling as a medium to foster awareness and appreciation of India’s wildlife heritage.
