The Parampara Series 2024, a prestigious national festival of dance and music, is set to captivate audiences in New Delhi from December 4 to 6 at the Kamani Auditorium. Organised by Natya Tarangini, this three-day cultural extravaganza will bring together an impressive lineup of celebrated artists and promising icons, offering a vibrant display of India’s classical arts.
The festival will open on December 4, with a mesmerising Kuchipudi performance by the Raja Radha Reddy Repertory, followed by an enchanting Hindustani vocal recital by the acclaimed Mahesh Kale. On December 5, the SRJAN Ensemble will present the grace and precision of Odissi dance, while Rakesh Chaurasia will deliver a soulful Hindustani flute recital.
The final evening, on December 6, will feature a captivating Mohiniyattam performance by Neena Prasad and her group, culminating with a stirring classical music recital by Tal Fry. The performances will take place each evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Parampara Series 2024 continues the legacy of Natya Tarangini, a renowned performing arts centre established in 1976 by Padma Bhushan awardees Dr Raja Radha Reddy, Dr Kaushalya Reddy, and later joined by their daughters Yamini and Bhavana Reddy. Originally founded to popularise the Kuchipudi style of Indian classical dance, Natya Tarangini has evolved into an institution that nurtures various art forms while preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural heritage.
For nearly five decades, Natya Tarangini has provided a platform for students to learn and perform under the traditional “Guru Shishya” parampara. The institute not only imparts training in classical dance and music but also encourages students to explore choreography and participate in performances alongside their gurus. In keeping with its mission of inclusivity, Natya Tarangini offers free training to underprivileged and deserving students, as well as those with physical and mental challenges.
