Delhi slaughter houses, shops selling meat and fish urged to remain closed on Jan 22

Qureshi, the General Secretary of the Delhi Meat Merchant Association, emphasised the significance of bringing people together and explained that the appeal extends to all slaughterhouses, as well as businesses selling meat and fish in Delhi.

According to industry experts, more than 1,500 such events are planned in markets and temples. The wedding bands have been reserved to perform devotional songs and bhajans during these programs, contributing to the heightened devotional and festive atmosphere
