The much-anticipated Galaxy Unpacked 2025 is scheduled for January 22, 2025, where the company will unveil the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. The event will take place in San Jose, United States, making it the first physical Unpacked event of the year.

Samsung is expected to launch three smartphones in the Galaxy S25 series: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. In its announcement, the company hinted at significant advancements in artificial intelligence, describing the next-generation Galaxy AI as more natural and intuitive. Samsung stated, “The next evolution of Galaxy AI is coming, and it’s going to change the way you interact with the world every day.”

Pre-Reservations Open in India

In anticipation of the launch, Samsung has begun accepting pre-reservations for the Galaxy S25 series in India through the Samsung India Store. The pre-reservation window will remain open until January 22, 2025, or until the formal pre-booking phase begins.

What to Expect from the Galaxy S25 Series

Although Samsung has not disclosed the official specifications of the Galaxy S25 series, industry rumors suggest that the new flagship lineup will include several cutting-edge features and significant upgrades.

The Galaxy S25 series is likely to run on Android 15, paired with Samsung’s latest One UI 6.0 software. Depending on the region, the devices could be powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor or Samsung’s own high-performance Exynos chipset. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are rumoured to feature AMOLED displays with high refresh rates, potentially exceeding 120Hz. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to come with a larger, curved AMOLED display offering improved brightness and even higher refresh rates.
