a family in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat became the latest victim of a case of murder over property dispute. A young 20-year-old man, Aman, killed his father and two sisters when he was dispossessed from property owing to his wrong activities.
A few days ago his father Brijpal (60), a resident of Chaudharan Patti in the Baraut police station area, dispossessed his son from his property owing to his wrong activities, which angered Amar and he murdered all three, including 17 and 24-year-old sisters using a sharp-edged weapon on Sunday night, the police said.
The incident was reported by Amar’s mother on Monday morning the bodies were sent for post-mortem. Meanwhile, Amar fled home and an operation has beeb launched to nab him.

Couple Stabbed 4 Kin in West Bengal’s Howrah
A woman and her husband allegedly killed four members of their family in West Bengal’s Howrah district over property last week. While her husband Debraj Ghosh is on the run, the accused, Pallavi Ghosh, has been arrested.
The couple stabbed Debraj’s mother Madhabi and his brother Debashish to death with a sharp weapon. They also stabbed Debashish’s wife Rekha and his 13-year-old daughter Triyasha, according to the police report. A hunt is still on for Debraj who went missing following the incident.
Andhra Woman Beheads Daughter-in-law
A heinous crime sent shock waves across in Andhra Pradesh’s Rayachoti recently when a woman killed her sister’s daughter-in-law and reached the police station with her severed head to surrender.
Subbamma, along with her relatives, brutally murdered Vasundhara (35) after inviting her for lunch. She then cut the head of the victim and carried it in a polythene bad to reach the Rayachoti police station six kilometres away from the crime spot.
The police rushed to the scene of the crime and shifted the torso along with the severed head to the government hospital for autopsy.
Man Surrenders after Killing Wife
A man surrendered at the police station after killing his wife with a shovel following a property dispute in UP on August 6.
The accused named Devendra Yadav killed his wife Kripadevi with a shovel following an argument over property. He later reached the police station and surrendered there. The police arrested him and recovered the murder weapon. The body was sent for a post-mortem examination.
Delhi Man Shoots Younger Brother
In April, a 37-year-old man was injured after being shot at by his elder brother over a property dispute in Welcome Market in northeast Delhi.
Sumit Verma, a tailor, was near his shop when his brother, Amit Verma (40), came there and an argument ensued between the two, police said. Moments later, Amit Verma whipped out a pistol and fired three rounds at his brother.
According to police, Amit Verma has been arrested. “At about 12 noon, we got a call about an incident of firing near Verma Tailor in Welcome Market. A person named Sumit Verma was fired upon,” a senior police officer said. The man sustained bullet injuries on his chest, back and a finger. He is undergoing treatment at a hospital and is stated to be out of danger, he said.
