The India Meteorological Department said that Delhi will experience light rainfall on Friday. According to the department, the national capital can expect a generally cloudy sky with occasional light rain or drizzle.
The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius, which is slightly below the normal level.
The MeT office also predicted that the maximum temperature for the day would reach around 33 degrees Celsius.
Light to moderate rain lashed parts of Delhi early on Thursday, leading to waterlogging in several areas of the national capital.
As of 8:30 am, the relative humidity in Delhi was measured at 79 percent. The Air Quality Index (AQI) for the city, as reported by SAFAR data at 8:40 am, indicated a reading of 66, categorizing it as ‘satisfactory’.
The AQI scale considers values between zero and 50 as ‘good’, 51 to 100 as ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 as ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 as ‘poor’, 301 to 400 as ‘very poor’, and 401 to 500 as ‘severe’. (With inputs from PTI)
