Delhi : Two teenagers were fatally beaten and stabbed during a confrontation in northwest Delhi ‘s Ashok Vihar area, according to authorities.
The tragic incident unfolded around 10 pm on Friday night at the JJ cluster of Chandra Shekhar Azad Colony in Ashok Vihar. Senior police officials said that two suspects have been apprehended, with additional teams dispatched to apprehend any other involved parties.
Police believe the altercation stemmed from a previous dispute at a local swimming pool between two factions of young men residing in the vicinity. While the matter had seemingly been resolved with the intervention of others, tensions resurfaced leading to the deadly clash.

Reports suggest that on Friday night, Vipul (19) and Vishal (17), along with several associates, initiated an assault on Anuj and his brother Suraj at their residence. Suraj promptly called for backup, resulting in a clash between the two groups. Tragically, Vipul and Vishal sustained fatal injuries during the altercation and were pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Law enforcement officials have since detained two suspects for questioning, with surveillance footage and witness testimonies being scrutinized as part of the ongoing investigation. A murder case has been registered as authorities continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the incident. (With inputs from PTI)
