Flipkart has confirmed that its Republic Day Sale 2026 will kick off in India on January 17, with early bird offers already live on the platform. Ahead of the flagship sale, the e-commerce major is rolling out discounts on several popular products, including Apple’s latest iPhone 17.
As part of the early deals, the iPhone 17 is available on Flipkart at an effective price of Rs 74,990. The offer includes a combination of direct discounts, exchange benefits and select bank offers. The handset is listed in multiple colour options, including lavender, mist blue, sage green, white and black.
Flipkart Plus and Black members will get 24-hour early access to the Republic Day Sale, which officially begins on January 17. Buyers using HDFC Bank credit cards can also avail themselves of easy EMI options along with an instant 10 per cent discount.
The discounted price marks a significant reduction from the iPhone 17’s launch price of Rs 82,900 for the base 256GB variant. Apple unveiled the iPhone 17 in India and global markets in September 2025.

The smartphone features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is protected by Ceramic Shield 2 and offers up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The device also carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. In comparison, the iPhone 16 came with a smaller 6.1-inch display and a 60Hz refresh rate.
Powered by Apple’s A19 processor and a 16-core Neural Engine, the iPhone 17 is claimed to deliver nearly 40 per cent better performance than its predecessor. On the camera front, it sports a dual rear setup comprising a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, the phone is equipped with an 18-megapixel Centre Stage front camera, similar to the Pro models.
