Songs of the Stone, an immersive cultural series by Inkpot India, will return for its second chapter at Qutub Minar on March 8. Conceptualised by Simar Malhotra, the series places music in dialogue with architectural heritage.
The evening will feature two-time Grammy Award-winning flautist Rakesh Chaurasia and his ensemble. Known for his work in Hindustani classical music and contemporary collaborations, Chaurasia carries forward the legacy of his guru and uncle, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. The performance will blend classical traditions with global musical influences, accompanied by musicians on tabla, drums, bass, guitar, and keyboards.

Presented in collaboration with HSBC Live the Legacy and produced with Excurators Events, the series seeks to reframe historic sites as living cultural spaces. Founder Simar Malhotra said the initiative aims to make heritage emotionally relevant for contemporary audiences, particularly younger listeners, through immersive and site-specific performances.
