Commonly called the “Blind School Diwali Mela,” the popular Diwali Bazaar is one of the city’s oldest annual events, consistently held for 44 years, except for 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year’s Bazaar is again a week-long event and is known for its colourful stalls offering traditional Diwali items such as diyas (oil lamps), rangoli decorations, festive lights, and handcrafted goods. Visitors can also find a variety of sweets, dry fruits, and snacks, along with ethnic wear, jewellery, and home décor items.
