The Delhi Police have apprehended two teenagers for stabbing a 15-year-old boy in northeast Delhi’s Bhajanpura area due to an old rivalry, an official said on Friday.
According to the police, the stabbing incident occurred around 11:30 pm on April 28, when the victim, Shahid, a resident of Kabir Nagar, was found with stab injuries in the Vijay Park area. Local residents rushed him to GTB Hospital.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Northeast) Hareshwar V Swami stated, “A case was registered under the relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Bhajanpura police station, and an investigation was initiated.”
He further informed that two minors, aged 16 and 17, were apprehended on April 29 in connection with the incident.
“During questioning, they admitted that the attack stemmed from an old rivalry with the victim,” Swami added.
The weapon used in the assault—a knife—was also recovered from their possession.
In a separate incident, three men have been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man to death in outer Delhi’s Sultanpuri area, police said on Friday.
The accused—Ritik (19), Rahul (23), and Nikhil (19)—are said to have a record of violent crimes.
On Wednesday, the victim, Suraj, was brought to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Mangolpuri with stab wounds and was declared dead on arrival, the police said.

Following a tip-off, the three suspects were identified and apprehended near a local drain.
During interrogation, the trio confessed to stabbing Suraj due to a long-standing feud.
Police said Suraj was on his way to attend a wedding when he was intercepted and attacked by the accused.
Ritik has previously been involved in two criminal cases, Rahul in five, and Nikhil had been apprehended as a juvenile in three cases, including robbery.
