The girl had been residing with Khakha and his family at their residence since her father's passing on October 1, 2020.

A 17-year-old nail artist has lodged a complaint of sexual assault against man, who befriended her over creating an Instgram reel, as reported by authorities on Friday.

Based on a formal complaint lodged by the victim’s sister, the minor established contact with the accused, identified as Neeraj alias Neer Adhana, on the social media platform Instagram. Neeraj enticed the young girl by proposing to create an Instagram reel for her and invited her to a farmhouse in Gurugram.

Trusting the intentions of the accused, the victim visited the specified farmhouse on Wednesday. However, upon arrival, Neeraj provided her with a beverage that was spiked with sedatives. Soon after consuming the drink, the minor began to feel disoriented, following which Neeraj allegedly subjected her to sexual assault.

The complainant asserted, “Upon discovering that my sister had lost consciousness, Neeraj contacted me and informed me that he was arranging for my sister’s transportation home via taxi. Nonetheless, I hastened to reach the farmhouse as swiftly as possible, only to find my sister in a distressing state.”

Subsequently, the distressed victim was promptly rushed to the civil hospital in Sector 10 by her sister. Exploiting the chaotic circumstances, the accused managed to flee the scene.

In response to the incident, an FIR was registered against Neeraj, who resides in Sector 56 of Gurugram. The charges listed in the FIR encompass Section 328 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), pertaining to causing harm through poison, and Section 7 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The FIR was lodged at the DLF Phase 1 police station on Thursday.

According to a senior law enforcement official, Neeraj is employed as an operator at an RCM (reverse osmosis, coagulation, and flocculation) plant. In ongoing efforts to apprehend the accused, police authorities are actively conducting search operations. It is anticipated that Neeraj will be taken into custody shortly.
