Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal revealed that Delhi government schools have taken in 150 students from strife-ridden Manipur as part of an initiative to help them reintegrate into normal life.
Speaking during the Delhi government’s Independence Day event at Chhatrasal Stadium, Kejriwal expressed his concern over the prolonged ethnic turmoil in Manipur and acknowledged the prevalent unrest and hostility across the nation.
He recounted the pain he felt when considering the situation in Manipur and emphasized the significance of unity among citizens to propel India to a position of global prominence. Kejriwal noted that for India to attain the top position worldwide, the populace must function as a cohesive family.
Kejriwal highlighted the importance of fostering positivity in the country despite the prevailing negative environment. He stressed that India’s progress would be impeded by internal conflicts, while collaboration could render any external opposition futile.
