Delhi recorded its coldest day of the month with the minimum temperature settling at 8.8 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season’s average, according to the Met office.
The city is expected to have a partly cloudy sky during the day, with the maximum temperature hovering around 25 degrees Celsius, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
At 8.30 am, the relative humidity was recorded at 75 per cent, according to the IMD bulletin.
In the first week of March over the last 12 years, Delhi has experienced minimum temperatures ranging between 10 and 18 degrees, as reported by the IMD.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am was 179, falling under the “moderate” category. (With inputs from PTI)
