A section of a two-story building in the Jahangirpuri area of northwest Delhi collapsed on Friday, resulting in the deaths of three people, according to officials.
Authorities have indicated that additional individuals may still be trapped under the debris, with rescue operations currently ongoing.
A police officer reported that Mukesh Kumar, aged 45, was injured in the collapse and later succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital.

Two other individuals, including a woman, were extracted from the rubble and pronounced dead upon arrival, the officer added.
The building, which housed a garment factory, was undergoing some repair work at the time of the collapse, the officer noted.
The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) received an emergency call at 12:51 PM, prompting the dispatch of five fire tenders to the scene. Local police and other rescue teams have been mobilised to assist with the rescue efforts, and the operation is still in progress, according to officials. (With inputs from PTI)
