Delhi records 20 degree Celsius minimum temperature, light rain predicted

The weather office has predicted a generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle during the day and a maximum temperature around 36 degree Celsius

The national capital experienced a lower-than-average minimum temperature on Saturday, as reported by the India Meteorological Department.
Delhi recorded a temperature of 20.1 degrees Celsius, four notches below the normal range. The weather forecast for the day predicted a generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle, along with a maximum temperature of around 36 degrees Celsius.

At 8.30 am, the relative humidity in Delhi was recorded at 63 percent. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was in the ‘poor’ category with a reading of 239 around 9 am.
The AQI scale categorizes air quality as follows: ‘good’ (0-50), ‘satisfactory’ (51-100), ‘moderate’ (101-200), ‘poor’ (201-300), ‘very poor’ (301-400), and ‘severe’ (401-500). (With inputs from PTI)
