Delhi records minimum temperature of 19.4 degrees Celsius, light rain predicted

The IMD has forecast light to moderate rain at isolated places in the national capital during the day. The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 34 degrees Celsius

The national capital on Wednesday saw a minimum temperature of 19.4 degrees Celsius, slightly above the seasonal average, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

Humidity stood at 60 per cent at 8:30 am.

IMD predicts light to moderate rainfall in scattered areas of the national capital throughout the day. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 34 degrees Celsius.

According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 161, categorized as ‘moderate’, as of 11 am.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘severe’. (With inputs from PTI)
