Delhi on Wednesday saw a slight dip in the minimum temperature, with the mercury dropping to 20.8 degrees Celsius, just below the seasonal average, said India Meteorological Department (IMD).
At 8:30 am, humidity levels stood at 59 percent.
The IMD predicts strong surface winds throughout the day, with the maximum temperature expected to reach around 36 degrees Celsius in the national capital.
Kuldeep Srivastava, scientist and head of the Regional Meteorological Centre, said, “The maximum temperature is expected to reach 38 degrees Celsius on April 18 and then drop to 34 degrees Celsius on April 19 due to the likelihood of light rain in the capital.“(With inputs from PTI)
