Delhi is expected to experience a warm Friday, with temperatures likely to surpass the 40-degree Celsius mark, the India Meteorological Department said.
The weather office has forecasted clear skies throughout the day in the national capital, with no chance of rainfall.
The minimum temperature during this period settled at 19.3 degrees Celsius, which is six degrees below the average. At 8:30 am, the relative humidity stood at 58 percent.
As per SAFAR data, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at around 9 am was in the ‘moderate’ category, with a reading of 191.
The AQI scale categorizes values between zero and 50 as ‘good,’ 51 and 100 as ‘satisfactory,’ 101 and 200 as ‘moderate,’ 201 and 300 as ‘poor,’ 301 and 400 as ‘very poor,’ and 401 and 500 as ‘severe.’ (With inputs from PTI)
