Heavy rain lashes Delhi, waterlogging in several areas

On Monday, Delhi recorded a low of 26.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, and a high of 34.2 degrees Celsius, a degree below normal

Heavy rainfall drenched various parts of Delhi on Tuesday while some areas continued to face flood-like conditions caused by the swollen Yamuna river.

Rainfall was reported in Lajpat Nagar, East of Kailash in south Delhi, as well as central areas including the Delhi Secretariat. The weather department had predicted moderate rain in the national capital for the day.

The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 27.4 degrees Celsius, while the morning humidity level stood at 89 percent. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 33 degrees Celsius.

On Monday, Delhi experienced a low temperature of 26.4 degrees Celsius, slightly below the seasonal average, and a high of 34.2 degrees Celsius, one degree lower than normal. (With inputs from PTI)
