India on Friday and Saturday welcomed a host of world leaders and VIPs for the G20 Summit being held at the Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, on September 9-10.
The summit is going to see the participation of a significant number of global leaders, among them are US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Republic of Korea President Suk Yeol Yoon, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and many others.
The African Union was officially welcomed as a new G20 member on Saturday, following an invitation extended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is hosting the summit:
