Amid the proceedings of the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET-UG) phase 1, several students were left distressed as they received messages regarding the last minute change in the examination venue. Moreover, a new admit card hasn’t been issued reflecting these changes. The students are in a dilemma about where to attend the exam from.

Around 12 students missed their exam due to the change in the venue in the last two days.

Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, chairman of the University Grants Commission announced that no retest will be held for those who missed Common University Entrance Test (CUET) on the first day.

If retest doesn’t happen, these students have to wait another year to appear for the exam. Students have not held back from expressing their angst and discontent on Twitter.
