Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday urged Delhi voters to remember who was responsible for the “biggest scam” in the capital while talking about clean politics. He emphasised that every vote for the Congress would help protect people’s rights, strengthen the Constitution, and put Delhi back on the path of progress.
Gandhi cast his vote at the Nirman Bhawan polling station in the morning. As polling for the high-stakes Delhi Assembly elections continued, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha made an appeal to voters on social media platform X.
“My dear brothers and sisters of Delhi, I appeal to all of you to go and vote today. Every vote for Congress will safeguard your rights, uphold the Constitution, and bring Delhi back on the road to progress,” he posted in Hindi.

He further urged voters to reflect on key governance issues, saying, “While voting, remember who is responsible for polluted air, contaminated water, and broken roads. Who committed the biggest scam in Delhi while claiming to practise clean politics?”
Polling is underway at 13,766 stations across all 70 Assembly constituencies, where 699 candidates are in the fray. The outcome of this election could significantly reshape the political landscape of the national capital.
