Parts of Delhi experienced heavy rain early on Saturday, while the national capital’s minimum temperature settled at 18.2 degrees Celsius, five notches above normal, India Meteorological Department said.
The MeT office forecasts generally cloudy skies with light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by gusty winds throughout the day.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 22 degrees Celsius.
At 8:30 am, the humidity level stood at 76 percent.
According to Central Pollution Control Board data, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in the ‘moderate’ category at 9 am, with a reading of 148.
The AQI scale categorizes levels as follows: 0-50 ‘good’, 51-100 ‘satisfactory’, 101-200 ‘moderate’, 201-300 ‘poor’, 301-400 ‘very poor’, and 401-500 ‘severe’. (With inputs from PTI)
