Khushii Art is set to host a two-day charitable fundraising event in New Delhi, featuring some of India’s most celebrated contemporary artists. The event, organized by Khushii NGO, will be held both online and remotely, and aims to raise funds for the education of over 45,000 impoverished children.

The show titled “Strokes of Perfection” will feature a group display of artworks that symbolize nature’s incredible ability to produce and nurture. The artists have skillfully captured the essence of nature and presented it in a way that conveys the importance of protecting and giving back to the environment.

One of the artists showcasing her work is Shubhra, who has been exhibiting in India and overseas since 2005. Shubhra’s work highlights the connection between nature and its myriad elements, as well as the mystery in these overlaps. Her art portrays a sequence of thoughts and emotions, depicted as dialogues between her and her other reflections or other beings in an invisible passage of time.

Artist Shubhra told Patriot that nature and its many elements inspire her artwork, stating that she finds mystery in the overlaps and connections between beings. “My art is a portrayal of this sequence of thoughts,” she said.

Shubhra also shared that her creative process involves converting her thoughts into visual forms using a combination of classical and contemporary shapes, colours, lines, and aesthetics.

She added, “My sensitivities bear witness to numerous thoughts, experiences, emotions, and feelings that channel through me. This inner narrative is depicted as dialogues between me and my reflections or other beings in an invisible passage of time. I endeavor to preserve and strengthen the positivity in this continuity.”

The event will be held at Okhla, New Delhi, on April 14 and April 15, 2023, from 11 am to 8 pm. Visitors can also attend the show online and remotely. The precise combination of classical and contemporary shapes results in accessible visual renderings with wholly new, unrecognisable forms.
