The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius on Saturday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The relative humidity stood at 86 per cent at 8.30 AM.

The IMD has predicted thunderstorms accompanied by rain in Delhi on Saturday and Sunday, with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was 70 at 9 AM, placing it in the ‘satisfactory’ category. An AQI between zero and 50 is classified as ‘good’, 51–100 as ‘satisfactory’, 101–200 as ‘moderate’, 201–300 as ‘poor’, 301–400 as ‘very poor’, and 401–500 as ‘severe’.
On Friday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 33.2 degrees Celsius, 0.9 degrees below normal, and a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius, 1.9 degrees below the seasonal average. The relative humidity ranged between 87 per cent in the morning and 78 per cent in the evening.
Rainfall was reported at several weather stations across the city in the last 24 hours. Safdarjung received 7.6 mm of rainfall, Palam 13.3 mm, Lodhi Road 3.2 mm, and Ridge 5.2 mm, while Aya Nagar recorded none. Between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm on Friday, Safdarjung logged 0.1 mm, Palam 4.2 mm, Lodhi Road 0.4 mm, Ridge 1.5 mm and Aya Nagar remained dry.
