Crowne Plaza Greater Noida’s signature restaurant introduces fresh flavours and inventive pairings as the city’s dining culture evolves

In a city better known for its bustling street food and quick-service eateries, fine-dining restaurants have often struggled to find their place. Yet, tucked inside Crowne Plaza Greater Noida, Chao Bella has steadily carved out a niche as the only restaurant in the region dedicated to both Chinese and Italian cuisine. This month, it has gone a step further by unveiling a new menu that aims to elevate fusion dining like never before in Greater Noida.

Set on the hotel’s lobby floor, the restaurant has long been popular with guests seeking classic pasta dishes or delicate dim sums in a warm, contemporary setting. But the new offerings push the culinary conversation further—blending traditional recipes with inventive presentations designed to appeal to both adventurous diners and loyal regulars.

From the Chinese kitchen come dishes like Orange Soy Glazed Scallops and Prawns Har Gao crowned with salmon eggs—delicate dim sums with an unexpected touch of luxury. A vegetarian option, the Gochujang Tofu Donburi, adds a Korean accent, while the Cantonese Steamed Sea Bass stays close to tradition with a light infusion of ginger, soy and scallion.

The Italian side of the menu offers a contrast in comfort and richness. There is Lamb Pappardelle slow-cooked in a porcini mushroom sauce, Duck Leg Confit paired with parmesan mash, and a golden Risotto di Butternut Squash with smoked chicken. For dessert, the menu closes with the decadent Torta Caprese, a flourless chocolate and almond cake from southern Italy.

Executive Chef Rajiv Vatsyayan explained the philosophy behind the redesign: “We wanted to create a menu that reflects the dynamic blend of cultures that Chao Bella stands for. Each dish has been crafted with technique, tradition and a touch of innovation—so whether you’re craving a crispy prawn dim sum or a rustic Italian pasta, you’ll find something to surprise and delight.”

General Manager Sharad K Upadhyay said the new menu builds on the restaurant’s established reputation. “Chao Bella has always been a favourite for guests seeking authentic Chinese and Italian cuisine. With this menu, we are pushing culinary boundaries while staying true to our roots—offering an experience that’s truly unique in Greater Noida.”

The expansion comes at a time when Greater Noida’s dining scene is gradually maturing, with more hotels and independent restaurants seeking to attract residents and business travellers alike. For Crowne Plaza, Chao Bella remains its signature restaurant, balancing authenticity with experimentation.

Dinner is served daily from 7 PM to 11 PM, giving diners a chance to experience an unusual meeting of chopsticks and pasta forks under one roof.
