Music events to visit this weekend

All of our celebrations call for music, and today this World Music Day, music calls for celebration in itself. Every year on 21 June, the World Music Day is celebrated to honor both the artists and their art. On this anniversary, Delhi is all up and ready with different music events to celebrate the day. Here the Patriot brings all the music events you can go for throughout the week

Sukoon Sufi Nights : Bismil 

Sukoon Sufi Nights is a 7-hour-long music program, hosted in the Ministry of Sound, Noida. This event features the famous musician Bismil and other  social media influencers. The show is set to happen on Wednesday June 22 at 7.00 pm. 

The Frequency Project Live 

The Informal By Imperfecto in Janpath will be hosting The Frequency Project on 29 June, Wednesday. The band plays Indian classical and Sufi music. This event is for every Sufi music enthusiast out there who can go and enjoy the show with their friends and family.  

WEME

Home Delhi is hosting the mighty West East Music Ensemble (WEME) on 24 June, Sunday. The event is being coordinated and brought together by Sina Fakhroddin. The event will have all kinds of Indian music with refreshments. This late-night event will commence at 9.30 pm. 

Sufi and Bollywood Night with Sadho 

The Mic Drop, Delhi is hosting a Sufi night with a tint of Bollywood this Sunday, 26 June. Sadho is a Sufi band that plays all things that are soothing to one’s ear. They play different genres of music, including Bollywood, ghazal, folk, Qawwali, and other Indian traditional music. They are known to play their own compositions that make their performances special.

All Week Live Performances At 38 Barracks 

Starting today, 38 Barracks at Connaught Place is holding live music performances across the board for every age group. The event beginning today will be held till the 30th of this month. The event will host artists like Deepankar, the Mastaane Band, and other surprise guests. The event is being headlined by musicians Shivam Luthra and Umar Aslam.
