As India prepares to celebrate another Independence Day, the feeling of pride and love for the country can be seen everywhere. Streets, homes, and public places are filled with the colours of the national flag. In Delhi-NCR, the grand shopping malls are joining in the celebrations in their own special way. They are not only decorating their spaces in the tricolour but also creating beautiful and meaningful installations that tell stories of courage, unity, and growth.
These displays highlight the bravery of soldiers, the strength of women, the importance of protecting the environment, and the dream of building a strong and modern India. The combination of art, creativity, and powerful messages is attracting large numbers of visitors. People are coming not just to shop but to experience the spirit of freedom, to be inspired, and to reflect on the journey the country has taken since independence.
Ambience Mall, Gurugram: “Humare Rakshak” – A tribute to India’s Armed Forces and Operation Sindoor
Ambience Mall in Gurugram is paying tribute to the bravery, discipline, and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces. The main highlight is the inspiring story of Operation Sindoor and the soldiers who protect the nation. The installation includes detailed scale models of the S-400 missile launcher, Akash, BrahMos, and Pichora missiles. Alongside these are fighter jet replicas of the Sukhoi Su-30MKI, Rafale, MiG, and Mirage 2000, each showing India’s strength in the air and its progress in defence technology. All of these have been made using recycled materials like scrap metal, FRP, and crushed glass, making the tribute both meaningful and eco-friendly.
Vegas Mall: Celebrating the vision of Viksit Bharat
Vegas Mall is focusing on the idea of a developed and progressive India. At the centre of its display is a giant gear painted in the tricolour, symbolising strength and growth. Around it are models of solar panels, windmills, spacecraft, and modern infrastructure. These show India’s success in renewable energy, space research, and national development. The display is completed by large, glowing “INDIA” letters, creating a perfect spot for visitors to take photos and feel proud of the country’s future.
