Fourteen-year-old artist Ishaan Gupta will present his exhibition An Origami Odyssey at the India Habitat Centre from September 25 to 27, bringing together five years of experimentation with origami, geometry and paper as an art form.
The exhibition features tessellations, geometric forms, animal figures, wall art, lights and sculptures, tracing Gupta’s journey from simple folds to more intricate works. His creations explore the relationship between pattern, structure, mathematics and design, while reflecting the possibilities of paper beyond conventional origami models.

The exhibition will be inaugurated by architect and artist Ankon Mitra, whose practice has explored origami-inspired forms across art, architecture and space. His participation adds another dimension to the showcase, connecting Gupta’s evolving work with broader explorations of folding, form and spatial design.
