An art exhibition titled Expanding Horizons – Ek Aur Duniya will be on display at LTC Gallery, Bikaner House, from January 15 to January 21. Curated by Ina Puri, the exhibition brings together artworks that examine socio-political and environmental issues while imagining a future shaped by dialogue and creativity.
The exhibition also coincides with the 20th year of Gallery Ragini. Speaking about the occasion, Nidhi Jain, founder of the gallery, said, “This exhibition symbolizes our efforts to create a space for conversations through art.”
The show includes works by both emerging and established artists. Young artists such as Arinjoy Sen, Gurjeet Singh, and Bappaditya Biswas contribute fresh ideas to the exhibition, while veteran names like Tilak Samarawickrema from Sri Lanka and Shobha Broota present works that reflect years of practice. Other featured artists include Manjunath Kamath, Veer Munshi, Jagannath Panda, Gigi Scaria, Pooja Iranna, Riyas Komu, Vivek Vilasini, and more.

The works on display address various themes. Manjunath Kamath’s terracotta sculptures use abstract forms to question humanity’s challenges. Veer Munshi’s portrayal of the Jhelum River reflects Kashmir’s history and present-day complexities. G.R. Iranna’s Silent Portrait draws on childhood memories and spirituality, creating a reflective narrative.
Tilak Samarawickrema’s work adapts Sri Lankan weaving techniques into a personal artistic style informed by his architectural background. The exhibition as a whole examines materialism, consumerism, and their environmental consequences while proposing a vision of a more balanced and inclusive world.
Curator Ina Puri explains, “This project explores the possibility of a harmonious future where dialogue and creativity can address issues like climate change and social conflict.”
The exhibition is open to all and engages with critical issues relevant to contemporary society.
