Swaranjali Delhi will organise the Gharana Festival 2025 on January 17 and 18 at The Theatre (Amaltas Hall), India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road. The performances will begin at 7 PM on both days.
The Gharana Festival will bring together renowned artists representing different gharanas from across the country. On the opening day, Pandit Jayateerth Mevundi, a celebrated vocalist from the Hubli tradition, will enthrall audiences with his performance, followed by a tabla solo by the acclaimed Pandit Satyajit Talwalkar from Mumbai.
The second evening will feature a sitar recital by Vidushi Anupama Bhagwat from Bengaluru, known for her virtuosity and depth, and conclude with a vocal performance by Vidushi Gauri Pathare, an accomplished artist from Mumbai.
Swaranjali, which has hosted iconic festivals such as the Pravasi Bharatiya Sangeet Nrittya Mahotsav, Shraddhanjali, and Murchhana Festival, collaborates with leading cultural organisations, including the Sahitya Kala Parishad, Sangeet Natak Akademi, and the Ministry of Culture. Over the years, it has remained steadfast in its mission to inspire younger generations to embrace and carry forward India’s classical traditions.
Swaranjali, registered under the Societies Act in 2003, organises concerts and festivals focused on Indian classical music and dance. It provides platforms for both seasoned and emerging artists, with previous events held in collaboration with organizations such as Sahitya Kala Parishad, Sangeet Natak Akademi, and the Ministry of Culture.

The Gharana Festival 2025 is open to all, offering audiences an opportunity to experience performances by artists from diverse traditions.
