The upcoming dance show “Dance of Eternity” promises to bring the epic story of Banasur from Hindu mythology to life on stage. The performance will take place at Apparel House, Sector 44, Gurugram, on August 3, 2024, at 6 PM.
Organised by Rini Malaviya, founder of Rini’s Music and Dance School, this event features a combination of choreography, music, and costumes. The show aims to captivate the audience with a rich blend of traditional and contemporary dance forms, portraying an ancient tale that still resonates today.
Padmashri Guru Shovana Narayan, a celebrated Kathak dancer, will inaugurate the event, adding her grace and expertise to the occasion. She will be joined by other renowned dancers and musicians, making this performance a must-see for lovers of art and mythology.
The story of Banasur is a timeless legend in Hindu mythology. It follows the mighty Asura with a thousand arms, his devotion to Lord Shiva, and the ultimate triumph of love and righteousness. Through dynamic dance sequences, the performance will explore key moments from this epic tale, such as Banasur’s intense penance to gain strength, the enchanting romance between Usha and Aniruddha, and the dramatic battle between Banasur and Lord Krishna.
