Film fest
What: The four month long, online Rising Gardens Film Festival culminates this April with its online edition from 16-19 April, and an Earth Day celebration with three days of screenings at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi from 22-24 th April. The Rising Gardens Film Festival began in January 2021 as an online festival of documentaries, short fiction, community videos and animations around women, nature, environment and agriculture. The festival is being organised and hosted on the Kriti Film Club online portal www.doculive.in and is jointly organised with Sangat to mark the One Billion Rising (OBR) South Asia Campaign. The festival has been curated by Reena Mohan, a well-known filmmaker. The Earth Day theme includes 10 films from four countries focusing on women and solidarities. These films celebrate environmental activism. They examine the fragile state of the world’s natural resources and look at the many ways in which women connect with and negotiate the politics of domination in a bid to protect nature.

What: Kalasutra 2021 by Sanchit Art gallery is an attempt to trace the continuity of the essential thread of the aesthetic foundation which runs through the art of our nation over various eras, into the art of today. The purpose of images in art is to help channelize various visualization of objects into symbols, aimed at clarifying the unknown by means of the known. The chosen artists in this group show that master artists of contemporary Indian art are each with distinct styles of their own, whose works exemplifies their mastery over lines and strokes with strong emphasis on the spirit of imagination.

Fresh menu
What: Known for its name and the fresh brews, Ctrl Alt Delete or CAD is back in action in full swing. The bar that combined technology with entertainment, made its way to the hearts of Delhiites in a jiffy. The tech bar has recently come up with a new fresh menu. Their sumptuous menu has dishes like Baked Irani Chicken, Onion Green Chilli Garlic Bread, Mutton Seekh Curry with Green Chilli Lachha Paratha, Amritsari Kulchas, Basil Pesto Lachha Paratha, Fried Garlic Naan, Hari Mirch ka Salan and Steam Masala Edamame. They’ve really focused on coming out with a unique range of assorted pieces of bread since Delhiites love North Indian more than any other cuisine. Add a bottle of fresh beer with a piping hot plate of butter chicken and garlic naan, and fall in love with the summer season.
