An upcoming art exhibition, Live in Splendour – The Art Edition, will be held from June 20 to 23 at the Visual Art Gallery, India Habitat Centre. The show has been curated by artist and educator Chandni Gulati Aggarwal and features works by 25 Indian artists from across the country and abroad.
The exhibition aims to highlight the work of self-taught, independent, and emerging artists who often remain outside mainstream galleries. The artists will present a wide range of styles including figurative, abstract, folk-inspired, mixed media, and conceptual works.
The exhibition is dedicated to the memory of Aggarwal’s grandmother, Neelam Gulati, who organised consumer exhibitions for over two decades and was known for creating platforms for small-scale and women-led businesses.
Alongside the exhibition, several events have been planned, including a panel discussion on navigating the art market, live demonstrations, artist talks, and guided walkthroughs. There will also be mentorship sessions for students and networking evenings to encourage interaction between artists and visitors.

“This isn’t about glamour — it’s about giving power to passion, and turning struggle into splendour,” says Aggarwal. “I’ve grown up watching my grandmother create spaces where people felt seen, valued, and uplifted. Live in Splendour is my way of continuing that legacy — this time for the art world.”
