The Festival of India is open to everyone and will conclude on October 24

The heart of India, New Delhi, is all set to host a grand celebration of diverse cultures, tantalizing flavours, and soul-stirring music at the Festival of India, a 5-day magnificent cultural extravaganza scheduled from October 20 to 24, 2023.

The Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium will transform into a vibrant hub of festivities, welcoming people from all walks of life to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of India and beyond.

According to organisers, visitors can embark on a global journey through 200+ lifestyle and shopping stalls, featuring international marvels from Türkiye, Iran, Afghanistan, Thailand, and other countries.

They said that the venue will be transformed into a bustling marketplace, offering a unique opportunity to explore diverse crafts, artifacts, and culinary delights.

Food enthusiasts can indulge their taste buds in a gastronomic adventure featuring Navratri Thali, Chats, Ice-Cream, Fast Food, and flavors from various Indian states including Bengal, North India, Hyderabad, South India, and Gujarat. The Festival of India promises a delightful culinary experience with a myriad of flavors and tastes, said the organisers.

They added that attendees will be treated to a musical spectacle with 20+ live performances by talented artists.

The event boasts a lineup that spans various genres, ensuring there’s something for every music lover. From traditional melodies to contemporary beats, the Festival of India promises musical magic that will resonate with the soul, they further added.

The cultural extravaganza culminates with the auspicious Maha Durga Puja celebrations. The five-day event includes elaborate rituals, devotional ceremonies, and cultural performances. From Maha Shasthi on Friday, October 20, to Bijaya Dashami on Tuesday, October 24, attendees can participate in the reverence and spiritual fervour of one of India’s most significant festivals.
